Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and sole child one of Richard McCormick. Her parents were an aunt who worked as an housewife, and her father who taught. Michael Dennis and Kevin are three of her older brothers. McCormick is always a fan of performing, dancing and creating show puppets. When she won her first Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest at the age of 6 an old Pat Domigan called from Jack Wormser Agency to see what she thought about getting into the world of entertainment. McCormick's first job as a professional was in 1964, where she was featured in a commercial on TV for Mattels new doll Baby Pattaburp. She subsequently starred as Chatty Cathy in a commercial and was then cast for Wind It Up And It's Breaks at The La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick's audition was among 1200 other children who auditioned for the role of the oldest towheaded girl in The Brady Bunch. The sitcom featured Florence Henderson and Robert Reed newlyweds, who shared a blended-family. This show lasted for five years. McCormick wrote in her book Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady And Finding My True Voice Published In 2008 McCormick revealed how during the fifth season of the television show she almost lost virginity with her brother Barry Williams. The actress was only 16 when she was in the scene and he was just 19. The woman said it might have been feasible, but we never had the right moment to make the decision.
